Im really not that into eating stuff JUST because its good for you! I eat stuff because it tastes good and is Vegan, if its good for me thats a bonus. Flaxseed crackers come under the category of good for you but not going to go out of my way to eat them because of that but.... I bought a whole bunch of them to make granola with and they were just sitting in my pantry not being used. I got the idea for these on a vegan body building vlog that i watched (i have no idea why) and they looked quick and easy so I made them.
Flax Crackers
Ingredients:
1 cup of Flaxseeds
1 small clove garlic chopped finely
1/2 Cup water
1 Tablespoon of soy
1 Tablespoon of Maple syrup
1 teaspoon of vegan worcestershire sauce
Method:
Mix together all ingredients and let sit for about 5 minutes till it thickens.
Place in baking paper. Cover with another piece of paper and flatten till thin even layer. Remove top layer of paper and bake in a 200 degree oven for about 15 mins. Cool and break into pieces.
Serve with hummus and tomato for a awesome and super healthy snack.
These little guys turned out to be delicious. So crunchy and tasty too. Kind of taste like rivitas but better.
Im excited about flax now. Thats great because its so damn good for you (especially vegans).
Anyone got any great flax recipes they wanna share with me??

Yum!! It's been so long since I've made flax seed crackers but your post totally has me craving some. I love adding a little spice to the cracker and dipping them in guacamole. Here is one I made a loooong time ago. You've inspired me to revisit the flax cracker!
